Housing is undoubtedly one of the main life goals of thousands of Colombians and there are several financial reliefs to achieve it.
One of them is Social Interest Housing (VIS) which is measured in minimum wages. In other words, the maximum price that construction companies can charge for homes of this category in large population centers is 150 Smmlv (current legal monthly minimum wages) and in areas with a lower population density of 135 wages, which meant for 2022 prices of $150 million and $135 million, respectively.
Now, the prices will become $174 million and $156 million, which means an increase of 24 million pesos, for VIS housing in Colombia.
