Evo Morales says he would like to open a restaurant when he leaves power

Bolivian President Evo Morales has confessed his desire to open a barbecue restaurant and work as a waiter once he leaves power, according to an interview published in the newspaper Duty this Friday.

«My proposal is that the former president (Evo Morales) and the two former mayors – the one from Cochabamba Yacuíba – and go to Cochabamba, Chapare or Chaco, and the president be a waiter. We are going to charge cheap food and we are going to charge the photo .

All the polls published so far show Morales as the clear winner in that vote. If he wins those elections, it would be his last term, since the president said he intended to «respect the Constitution» that he himself promulgated in 2009 and that establishes a maximum of two terms in power -Morales’s first term was with the old Magna Carta.

In that interview, Morales expressed his concern about the lack of a successor in the leadership of his party, the Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS), once he retires: «It surprises me and sometimes it is a concern that does not let me sleep,» he said.
