If the International Olympic Committee allows the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes, the use of official Russian or Belarusian flags, emblems or anthems should be prohibited, Jean-Pierre said during his press conference on Thursday. In recent weeks, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged the International Olympic Committee to ban athletes from the two countries from competing at the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
