According to the president, Gustavo Petro, the Government of Iván Duque had not left the necessary budget to continue with the program that began due to the pandemic to help the most vulnerable households.
So the current president decided in October that the Solidarity Income would end on December 31. However, he made it clear that he would establish new aid mechanisms for the most needy families in the country.

How do you know if you are a beneficiary?
After two months, the Department of Social Prosperity established that before the end of the year the plan to combat hunger would be implemented. So the families belonging to group A of Sisbén would receive a bonus of 500,000 pesos.
«Under this extraordinary transfer, we are going to cover 324,000 new households that were not receiving any assistance from the State and that found themselves in a vulnerable situation,» said the director of the entity, Cielo Rusinque, at the launch of the program.

Remember that the subsidy is intended for households belonging to group A of Sisbén IV that do not have State aid, beneficiaries of the Banked Solidarity Income, households with heads of family that participate in Families in Action and have children under 6 years of age, and for Finally, there are the participants of Jóvenes en Acción who are mothers who are heads of households.
