It doesn’t matter if it is an economy car or a luxury car, a sports car or a family car, it is likely that one of these families was behind its production. This means that 40.3 million of the cars that were purchased that year are part of the companies that these families manage. The permanence of the founding surnames on the boards of directors of the companies, or the appearance of new family groups, only mean the materialization of the dream that began thanks to an entrepreneur who wanted to turn his business idea into a family project.
