According to the official, taxi drivers demand that the platforms comply with the law of the municipal authorities.

«They are not opposed to the issue of platforms, what they demand is that if they are intended to be used to provide the transport service, it must be done through vehicles that do so in compliance with all the conditions that taxi drivers have» , said.

The theme is focused on «generating equality, equity and of course, be adjusted to the legal system, in matters of payment of taxes, in matters of social security and in terms of the quality of vehicles”.

The union considers it unfair that they must follow certain requirements to mobilize their vehicle and that the drivers of the platforms do not submit to any of them when both are doing the same work.

This government is not going to let the issue go unnoticed

Therefore, The taxi drivers ask that the service provided by the platforms be subject to all the rules, conditions and follow the same treatment that is required of taxi drivers.
