Since November 2022, the 2023 schedule for people who are going to renew their driver’s license was reported, which was released by the Ministry of Transportation, the Runt and other transit entities.

Since that month, the measure of peak and ID has been in force to carry out this procedure in order to avoid congestion in the process and that it takes more time than desired.

In this sense, those who want to renew their document due to the expiration of the license, between November 1, 2022 and June 23, 2023, they will be able to approach the respective points depending on the final number of their document.

In November and December of last year, people with IDs ending in 1 and 2 can carry out this procedure. Let’s tell you what this optional measure will be like during the months of the first semester of the year.

It should be clarified that this process must be carried out in the driver recognition centers and the Runt, and along the same lines, that this measure is optional. This means that it is not mandatory to attend in the months in which the last digit of your ID is found.

Keep in mind, then, that the process may take longer with this pick and ID. Also, it should be remembered that the expired driver’s license implies a fine of 267,000 pesos and the immobilization of the vehicle.
