In order to reduce poverty and provide better stability to three million people, the National Government announced through a press release that happened on crash plan against hunger.

This project consists of The State gives a bonus of $500,000 pesos to those who are in conditions of vulnerability. Said amount varies according to the level of inequality that each region has.
According to the Government, 446 municipalities will benefit.
Requirements to receive this bonus
In an interview that the general director of Social Prosperity, Cielo Rusinque, gave to the “Institutional Channel” on Tuesday, he reported that the payment of this bonus will be made every two months after the next month of April.

To be a beneficiary of this subsidy you must be registered in the databases of the Government, belonging to an indigenous community, being displaced by violence or being an elderly person without a pension and living in poverty.
On the other hand, families that do not belong to any of these populations, but that have Sisben within groups ‘A’ or ‘B’ they can also be beneficiaries of the bonus.

In said interview, the director of the program invited the citizens to carry out the Sisben survey again and update it.since in this way “More than 300,000 families will benefit because they will possibly appear registered in a situation of ‘Extreme Poverty’.”
