A new Netflix Tudum event is just around the corner in Brazil. As part of the festivities, a global livestream will take place on June 17 that will take a look at some of the top new Netflix original movies and series coming soon. Here’s what we know so far and what’s to come.
As we recently covered, Netflix has yet to host a Geeked Week or global Tudum event in 2023. In 2022, Geeked Week took place in June, while Tudum took place in September. Netflix account Geeked recently teased that I would return the Geeked Weekbut nothing has been confirmed.
Recently, Netflix Brazil has been advertise an event Tudum, although the entire promotion has been localized only in Brazil. Described as a face-to-face event, it is scheduled to take place between June 16 and 18 in São Paulo. Japan is also hosting a similar in-person event titled «Only on Netflix,» which will take place between May 20 and 11th of June.

Now Netflix has confirmed that a live broadcast of Global Tudum will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

- Location: Fundação de São Paulo Biennial in Ibirapuera Park
- More than 100 Netflix stars

Netflix has yet to announce which platforms Tudum will stream on, though a leaked clip suggests it will be on YouTube and Instagram. It’s unclear if the live show will stream via Netflix’s own app.

Here’s a full list of the shows and movies that will be featured during the 2-hour live stream. Many will contain announcements, first images, and news, while others will likely debut behind the scenes, bugs, etc.

Stars currently expected to appear live at the event include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris Hemsworth, Henry Cavill, Zack Snyder, Nicola Coughlan, Chase Stokes, Gal Gadot, India Amarteifio, Gordon Cormier, Jess Hong, Benedict Wong, Inaki Godoy, among many more.
Many stars will also submit guest appearance clips, including Lily Collins, Jenna Ortega, Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, John Boyega, Penn Badgley, Kevin Hart and more.
