“The company will restart operations when it can guarantee the care and safety of all its employees and contractors. An extension of this suspension could negatively impact the company’s ability to meet its production,” the company detailed in a statement.

The mining union and the National Government continue to carry out dialogues to reach an agreed solution, having as a last novelty the lifting of 80 percent of the blockades in the lower Cauca, the northeast of Antioquia and the south of Córdoba.
