The Comfenalco al Barrio program brings good news for the inhabitants of the Trinidad neighborhood, also known as Barrio Antioquia, in the city of Medellín. Nearly 1,200 job opportunities are available for high school graduates, technicians, technologists, and professionals in different areas.

The initiative, which seeks to provide a solution to unemployment and promote economic growth in the area, se will take place next Thursday, July 27, on the La 26 pitch in Barrio Antioquia. It will begin at approximately 9 am and will have the participation of 20 companies that will present various vacancies.

Among the companies present, the José María Córdova Airport in Rionegro, Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellín, Jiro SA, Inter Aseo, Emtelco, Perman, Salamanca, Konecta, stand out. the Colombian Polytechnic Jaime Isaza Cadavid and the University of San Buenaventura in Medellín. These last two will finish their academic offer.
Job opportunities cover different sectors, from environmental engineers to commercial advisors, through dentistspayroll analysts, social communicators and production operators, among many other profiles.

In addition to the job search, attendees will have access to additional services during the event. Information on unemployment benefits will be provided, socio-labor workshops will be held and personalized attention will be shown with expert advisers who will help candidates to verify their suitability for the available vacancies.
This is not the first time that the program has reached a community in Medellín, it has already been successful in the Doce de Octubre and San Javier communes. Comfenalco al Barrio is expected to expand to benefit the 10 municipalities of Valle de Aburrá.
