The Government advances in the elaboration of the draft law of labour reform that he wants to file before Congress on March 16.

One of the changes that the project brings is that the weeks of paternity leave would be extended.

Of the current two weeks, it would go to 12 by 2025.

According to the leaked draft of the reform, the license would increase progressively to 5 weeks from the effective date of the law, it would rise to 8 in 2024 and it would reach 12 in 2025.

Currently, the duration of maternity leave is 18 weeks paid with the salary you earn at the time you start your leave.

Another proposal being discussed is that the night shift not start at 9 pm, but at 6 pm, so working after that time would be considered extra.

In addition, it is sought that the surcharge for working on a Sunday or holiday is not 75 percent but rises to 100 percent.
