The Superintendence of Industry and Commerce initiated an administrative investigation by formulating charges against clear and moving for probably rejecting portability requests without having the corresponding evidence.

Indeed, within the charge sheets formulated by the superintendency, it was warned that these operators would continue rejections of porting requests without counting or delivering the expected support within the Mobile Number Portability Regime, which demonstrates the configuration of the causes of default and ownership.
The investigation arose from various complaints and inspection visits to Claro and Movistar between January and April of this year, which made it possible to find out in a preliminary way that these operators, apparently, emerged rejections based on these situations without having the evidence required by the regulation.
On previous occasions, this same situation has already caused Claro and Movistar to be imposed administrative sanctions through fines and administrative orders are issued.

The Super Industry stated that against these administrative acts through which charges were filed against Claro and Movistar resources do not come.
If the violation is confirmed by the investigated parties, the impose fines of up to 17,400 million pesos for each company, once the procedure established as a guarantee of the rights of defense and contradiction of these operators is exhausted.
