Colombians will have a new rise in June: that of gasoline. The fuel will be charged more expensive in the country’s service stations, as established by Minister Irene Vélez.
Although they are waiting for the signing of the decrees to make the increase official, Minister Vélez anticipated it: “The increase in gasoline this month is 600 pesos, the same amount of increase that occurred the previous month.”
It will be the only one, since the ACPM will not have an increase. The Minister of Mines and Energy justified the rise by “the huge hole in the bottom of certain gasoline prices.” According to her, with the increase they intend that the fiscal gap does not continue to expand.
The average price of a gallon of gasoline in May was $11,767, that is, with the rise of $600 in June, it will remain on average at $12,367 per gallon.
