Gasoline: these are the prices that will apply as of July 1 - Sectors

The average price of gasoline remains at 12,964 pesos, while the ACPM remains unchanged.

The Government has just announced that as of this July 1, the average cost of a gallon of gasoline rises another 600 pesos and stands at 12,964 pesos, while the average price of ACPM at the national level remains without definitions.

According to the Government, with this decision, which is added to the increases that have been made for several months, it seeks to reduce the significant fiscal impact on the public finances of the National Government due to the dynamics of international prices of refined products, which compared to local prices present a significant gap

“It is important to highlight that, including this adjustment, Colombia continues to have one of the most competitive gasoline and diesel prices in Latin America due to the operation of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund (FEPC), which has mitigated the pressure inflation of the increases in the prices of oil and its derivatives in recent months,” said the Ministry of Finance.

He added that if he had not had the operation of the FEPC so far in 2023, the price of regular motor gasoline would have been, on average, more than 3,883 pesos above the current average sale price per gallon and in diesel in more than 7,725 pesos.
