On Wednesday, February 1st, Felipe Bayón will soon be celebrating his seven years at Ecopetrol and he will soon celebrate five and a half years as president. «The dialogue with the board of directors has been respectful and the common goal is for the company to always remain strong and be well,» he added.
He also stated that his departure had nothing to do with the government’s decision not to award new oil contracts. «We have had a permanent dialogue and, in fact, our technicians are delivering information.
