The Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (DIAN)informed this Tuesday 30

“This instant messaging channel allows citizens, in addition to reporting the inconveniences for the electronic sales invoice to be issued, to identify if the good or service is being billed correctly and to verify its validation by the DIAN,” the company said in the statement.

Likewise, in its function of ensuring the fiscal security of the Colombian State, this new space will also provide guidance on digital billing in access code.
That is, the unit plan to guide consumers on the importance of requiring this document when buyingin order to understand the conditions and legal requirements of the items obtained.
According to the general director of the DIAN, Luis Carlos Reyes Hernández, the objective is to eliminate the obstacles to requesting the invoice, in addition to helping Colombians to combat smuggling.

“We are working to break the barriers that prevent the issuance of the electronic invoice as well, but it is an invitation for citizens to join our fight against evasion and informality by demanding this document.”

To access the channel WhatsApp on the DIAN line, you can write to the following number 3108728457. The function will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to report or present the respective irregularities when requesting the invoice.

However, if you require the assistance of an agent to validate it, the service will be open immediately. Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
It is worth remembering that the only data necessary to issue the digital document are: name or company name, ID or NIT and email.
