Draft of the Development Plan contemplated an additional contribution for these contents.

Although in the draft of the National Development Plan that was known last week there was an article that put to pay the adult channels and digital services like Onlyfans finally did not remain in the project that was filed yesterday in Congress.

Specifically, the article stated that subscription television operators that offer the pay-per-view service of movies, videos or channels with adult sexual content they have to pay a contribution corresponding to 5 percent on the value of each service rendered or exported.

The same was specified for digital platforms that export entertainment services with sexual content for adults.

The Government hopes to allocate these resources to financing plans and programs for the prevention and fight against sexual exploitation and pornography with minors, through the Fund Against the Sexual Exploitation of Minors administered by the ICBF.

The Government of Gustavo Petro is presenting in the Congress of the Republic the bill of the National Development Plan 2022-2026.

What does the Plan bring?

The articles of the National Development Plan estimate an investment of $1,154 billion for the next four years: $136.5 billion for regional convergence; $114 billion for productive transformation and climate action; $744 billion for issues related to Human Security and social justice; $47 billion for the Human Right to food; and $28 billion for Territorial Planning around water.

Its goals include: updating the multipurpose cadastre by 70%; take extreme poverty to single digits; use the financial surpluses from coal and oil to make an energy transition, and reach close to 3 million hectares delivered.
