Banco Falabella announced the reduction of its interest rate from 45.99 percent to 25 percent as of March 15 on purchases in supermarkets, drug stores, health services, and education.
The measure, which has been applied by other competitors, is taken on the categories that have been most affected by the increase in inflation and that directly impact the pocket of Colombians. According to Falabella, this benefit will be used for customers of the CMR Clásica Card with quotas up to $3.9 million.
Regarding gasoline purchases, the bank said that this card has a “Gasoline Club”, with which 10 percent of what the customer spends at any service station in the country is returned, with a maximum of $50,000 pesos. monthly.
“Taking into account the principles by which we have always stood out and the economic context that the country is going through, today we seek to generate additional relief for our clients through the reduction of our interest rate. We hope that this action will add to the direct savings benefits of those who already have our means of payment”, explained Rodrigo Sabugal, General Manager of Banco Falabella.
In line with the savings that the bank highlights, Sabugal explained that the savings account does not have a management fee, it allows unlimited transfers at no cost to other banks and withdraw cash at no cost at branches, at more than 2,200 ATMs in the Servibanca network and additionally 3 free withdrawals per month at ATMs at any other bank in Colombia.
