A few days ago, the journalist Carolina Gómez posted on her Twitter account a photo where part of the menu was seen that the airline Avianca has a provision for crew members on flights.
There it could be seen that a chocorramo has a value of 15,000 pesos, the same as a Jet chocolate or Oreo cookies.
Given this, Gómez wrote in his trill “Avianca prices are a robbery.”

The post was very well received because more than 173,000 people saw the trill, 1,200 users “liked” it and received a large number of responses in support of the complaint.
One of these responses was from Avianca, which wrote: “Carolina, we tell you that the value of the products on board is not the same as on the ground. The price of the menu increases throughout the logistics processindirect costs to acquire and handle the product”.

On the other hand, on the Avianca page there is a section that talks about food on board, but without explaining a different reason for the price of the items.
