The Argentine Chamber of Deputies revealed the Supply Law this Thursday, thanks to the parliamentary majority of the ruling party and with the opposition and businessmen against it.

He did it in a marathon session, which began at noon on Wednesday and ended early on Thursday.

The proposal of the Executive of Cristina Fernández obtained 130 votes in favor, 105 votes against and 5 abstentions.

The law, which had already been approved in the Senate at the beginning of the month, consists of a package of three projects, presented as rules «for the defense of the consumer.»

According to the opposition, the measure «will scare away investments», is «unconstitutional» and grants «arbitrary» powers to the Executive.
